Presentation on the use of mucosectomy or submucosal endoscopic dissection in the treatment of early neoplastic lesions of the colon by Dr. Juan Martín Guerrero
Lesion of 45 mm in low rectum (LST-G mixed type) resected by ESD (classic technique) in the course «Current treatment of early colorectal neoplasms» held at the Hospital de Poniente on April 2th and 3th. The case was performed by Dr. Gallego and Prof. Katsumi Yamamoto using Flushknife 1.5 BT, Coagrasper, Orise gel (Boston Scientific), ESG-300 as electrosurgical unit and Fujifilm EC-740 TM as a colonoscope.
We present the case of a 64-year-old female patient with a history of colostomy due to low rectal neoplasia with a mixed nodular lesion (LST-GM) located in the ascending colon of about 50 mm that is resected with classical dissection technique (classic ESD) within of the course «Current management of early neoplasms of the colon» by Dr. Rosón and Dr. Gallardo. Orise gel from Boston Scientific was used as a submucosal solution. Flush-Knife BT 1.5 mm and Fujifilm EC-740TM colonoscope as endoknive an scope. Olympus ESG-300 as elctrosurgical unit.
